He may not be. But you know the team isn’t going anywhere with Rattler. The Saints are 1-5. What do you have to lose by giving the other guy a few series? More games?

I’m not a Rattler fan or defender but it’s not Shough time IMO.

Yep. Rattler will have a long career as a backup QB in this league but he isn’t starter. Maybe Shough isn’t either but we need to see what he’s got going into the draft next year.

It’s time to see what the rook got. I believe he’ll atleast look for his reads and push the ball downfield.

The stat they showed for 3rd down conversions of greater than 8 yards and we're dead last at 17% is why Rattler is not the guy. He is solid as long as the team stays on schedule but once they fall behind on first and second down he struggles mightily. Got to be better than that to remain a starter in this league.

Yeah Rattler has improved for sure. Interested to see if Shough would do the same, especially with a higher ceiling

Gotta see what he’s got in a competitive game situation against an opposing defense’s 1’s at some point.

Blows my mind to think you pick a QB in round two, and stick with a QB who can’t make the throw, makes one read and turns the ball over. It doesn’t get much worse bro

Rattler had 1 game that wasn't bad and everyone was ready to say he's the franchise QB of the future. I didn't see that because he still was consistently throwing behind receivers. And today reverting back to last year's Rattler that had no pocket awareness.
