Status of Football in SELA

LSU got theirs yesterday from Regina by way of Vanderbilt.
Saints are likely to receive their L from NFL Loss Claims department (Do they have a “Regina”?).
Nicholls got their arses handed to them by SFA in rain delayed game that ended after midnight. Taking them to 1-6 after a red hot start against UIW in Week 0.
I guess the only bright spot is Tulane at 6-1 after defeating Army.
Southeastern is a decent 5-2 after crushing the Demons 49-0.
Terrible year for football in the south east corner of Bayou State mediocrity in full force.

If we must drop down to the prep ranks, in Houma, at least we have Vandebilt at 7-0.
Their only speed bump to a perfect season will come on Week 10 verse ED White.

It is an SEC Shorts thing. This one is from two weeks ago. Periodically the skit revolves around Regina as she works the desk so losing teams can claim their L and get a tongue lashing.

If by decent you mean going to win the SLC and make a playoff run, sure decent.
Tulane is going to be able to control their own destiny for the CFP.
Saints rebuild off to a solid start. Very scrappy, Moore looks to be a solid coach, and some promising young players.
Great year for southeast Louisiana if you don’t care about the school in Baton Rouge.

I was on this train a few weeks ago but recently went to their games vs ecu and army. Poorly coached is an understatement.

It’s more accepted… people just casually talking about going to SEC road games for their team and I’m like “the game is on tv
” But we’re here. We’re not normal people in what is itself not a normal part of the country…
