Thinking about heading down to New Orleans to relive some of the 70s memories.

Anybody on here planning on going?

Had a side gig at the Tower Theater on Westheimer in Houston,1994.
Frampton and Robin Trower were doing soundchecks while I was setting up the bar. Took a "break" immediately. There might have been a dozen people in the building.Frampton is a much better guitarist than I realized at the time. Would definitely go see him perform.

I’ve seen him before and he is excellent. Couldn’t make the concert tonight though. However, if you haven’t seen him and you’d like to make plans soon. He got diagnosed with a motor neuron disease several years ago and had announced he was stopping touring. However, he did better than expected so he is on this tour called “Let’s Do It Again“. Reference to lyrics… IYKYK.

By the way, he has a pretty entertaining autobiography released a few years ago. I’d recommend it.

Old fart checking in here... saw Frampton in City Park Stadium in 1975 when his band was called Frampton's Camel. Also on the bill was a little-known band called Lynyrd Skynyrd. Both of them opened for Aerosmith. Nice line-up.

I was there too fr that and other all day concerts (ZZ Top Eric Clapton, J Geils Band etc,,). but believe it was called Tad Gormley Stadium at the time. I also saw Frampton at the Warehouse as well.

Went to the show and was extremely impressed with his guitar work! Sad to see him barely walk to the stage with a cane, but man he can still play. Even my wife who could care less was appreciative of his playing. Glad we went and enjoyed the show.

Great show. Had to insert his leftist politics at the very end by telling the fans to get out and support a no kings protest. SMH
