So what happens when an opposing fan wears Raider gear and tosses a tortilla

They have been doing this for years, why is it a issue now?

Big 12 directors voted 15-1 to enforce rules against fans throwing items on fields, which could impact Texas Tech's tortilla tradition.

I really want this saga to disappear.

It’s one of the most embarrassing things as a KU football fan and that’s saying a lot.

Well now they’re wrapping pocket knives inside those tortillas.

Probably because Tech is an actual threat to win the league now. Every sane person knew the rule change was only going to encourage more tortillas to be thrown.

Now with the fines added, Tech could be punished more severely than KU for Leipold's lie, or CU for their field storm.

What if they throw a pack of 20 tortillas is that a 2M penalty? Pat Mahomes probably will pay it

Ehh I think it's a great tradition, but they should just move it to a pre-game ritual or to between quarters when it won't be any sort of threat to anyone.

Could do it pre-game and halftime or something. It won't stop everything but when it's a safety issue it needs to be taken seriously
