This is the most that I have ever agreed with Ana Kasparian.

I wouldn't have guessed that she's a Tool fan. Would, in odd time signatures.

The guy is an amazing drummer. I see more tool drum covers than almost any other band.

Danny Carey is one of the best to have ever done it.

Interesting that she picked that song.

I'm not a Tool fan, but I feel like I've seen Danny Carey play much more impressive things than he did in that video. Not a criticism, he killed what he did play, but 95% of it wasn't crazy difficult stuff.

He was wearing a Larry Bird Celtics uniform, though, while he played it, which is enough for me!

She should check out Thomas Haake from Mushuggah playing bleed. If you know what you're listening to and understand polyrhythms, the coordination is insane.

I saw Meshuggah open for Tool in 2002. Great show.

Sounds a lot like Neil Peart's drum style.

Dana and Neil Peart are two of the greatest to ever do it.

Another one is Gavin Harrison of Porcupine Tree and Pineapple Thief.

I was hoping Rush would recruit him for their tour but they went with someone else.

Gavin's tutorial for Anesthetize is mesmerizing.

You can't play drums like that without strong acid, man.

I'm not a fan of that vocal style either, but the drumming is on point.
