Trump gets India to stop buying Russian oil

There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth from the Putin Bros.

India was just the middleman giving Europe a way to buy Russian oil or refined products made with Russian oil.

Maybe this is why Macron was crying.

Are we talking in the future? They just did a deal with them supposedly. Gave China some dollars , China paid in yuan.....same yuan buys Russian oil

First step would to be halt all transfers or purchases of military equipment. The second would be to push through the same to Pakistan.

That will get the dot-indians attention.

Not Macron. France is the least dependent on Russian energy of almost all of the European countries.

ETA: Actually, I take it back. Russia has been reduced so much by the Ukraine war that they might just be on India’s level now.

Here is an idea. Charge India a tariff on all the fraudulent phone calls to the US. We will have no debt by next month.

Each middle man gets a “cut” thus raising the price. The cheap price is what made India buy it in the first place.

BRICS doesn’t seem like such a big alliance now. Get the Russian/Ukraine war done then start pulling all those guys away from China.
