My guess would be the north side is where this problem stems. They need to send an army that way to take it back because it's spilling into the rest of campus and ruining gameday.
If they keep allowing the north side to be ruined, they're going to slowly overtake the rest. Nobody wants to get stuck in traffic around LSU with all the problems in BR.

The sad thing is both will probably plea down to light sentences and be back on the streets with a slap on the wrist in no time.
Probably community service for the guy who shot himself and MAYBE a six month-a year stint in juvi for the 16-year old if they're really trying to make an example. Attempted murder 1 charges ain't going to stick from a shooting starting from a fight, especially with a juvenile.

The university and/or boosters should take a page from the Exxon playbook, post ‘89 explosion. Begin gradually purchasing the state/president street properties, raze those rat infested pos and build a buffer to the north. Could eventually be repurposed.

As a person who used to enjoy a lot of drugs, I never did it out in public for obvious reasons. The fear of getting caught. There is no fear of getting caught anymore. Bring out the drug dogs and bring back the fear of getting caught so you can go back to hiding in your car when you do it and keep it out of the public.

I didn't find out until the next day a shooting occurred on campus while we were there. Hopefully, the governor ensure safety for all Louisiana schools.

They have a bridge 3 miles to the north with a shite design flaw that would be greatly improved thru the use of eminent domain and to my knowledge it hasn't even been seriously considered. No way in hell they do that over a couplie of Mondays acting the arse.

Just start cracking down on the pot smoking on campus and that will help a lot. They have no problem giving out MIP citations.
