Its like no one talks about the draconian shutdowns and gross overstepping of govt power in that time. From dark Brandon to school lockdowns and vax mandates.

And honestly Trump doesn't get enough credit for not expanding fed govt power like many others would have.

Looking at Europe's outcomes, Sweden which didn't buy into the lockdowns came out the best of the best from covid madness.

Lockdowns did a great deal of harm, but the deep blue states couldn't help but relish the power madness.

My favorite is when you bring this stuff up to leftists and they will say shite like "we didnt know what it was" and "people were dying"

I remember one boomer lib I worked with compared COVID to WWII

My state is Kentucky and we had Bashear in charge. I will forever hate his guts and the entire Democratic Party for what transpired those years. He stole my daughter’s formative middle school years from her and I question if she’ll ever fully recover.

Yet, all the ignorant liberal women fell for his daily TV chats that “we will get through this” which is now why he’s looking to run for President.

How could anyone forget? Those expensive groceries and new car prices you’re seeing today? That came from Covid.

Elderly died alone in hospitals and nursing homes across the the country.

Dad's missed the birth of their child/children.

HS and college Seniors didn't walk across a stage.

Jr. and Sr. Proms were cancelled.

HS Seniors missed their last game in every sport.

Children missed valuable classroom development time.

Careers were lost.

Small businesses were forced to close.

Never forget!

One of the most insane things to happen in history at that scale.

And for the jig to not be up when everyone else did not die in the streets with hazmat suited individuals picking up bodies like in those China videos.

Just insane we let the whole thing play out after that.

This is the thing that makes me laugh the most and is one of the strongest counter arguments to him being Orange Hitler.

If there was EVER a time in modern political history to be a dictator and take power, it would have been during the early parts of covid when a lot of people on both sides were begging for it.

I have a hard time believing Hitler would have let that chance slip between his fingers

Same here. When covid shutdown the state, our daughter was in 8th grade and getting ready to finish middle school. Her freshman year (20-21) was a shitshow. Social distancing, eating lunch in the classroom, half her friends opting to do remote learning most of the year. Our daughter started having depression and OCD, and an eating disorder right around the end of 2021 and 22. We still have to battle the mental health issues.

I'll never forgive or forget what they did to our kids those years.

Fun fact: Covid is a glorified cold. No more serious than the Hong Kong flu of the late 60s and other flu viruses we went through. When those things happened people just carried on.

TPTB who orchestrated the whole thing and profited from it/increased their power didn't forget. It was successful beyond their wildest imaginations.

Now they have the playbook. They can enact any draconian and authoritarian policies they want as long as they are promoted by the MSM and backed by a healthy dose of fear.

They know that most of the world will go along with them, especially most of Europe and East Asia (Chinese citizens having no choice in the matter), and in America they will divide the country almost perfectly 50:50.

The best enforcement doesn't come from the government or police--it comes from social media and giving people a moral high horse to lord over and snitch on others. COVID was the best time of many otherwise sad people's lives. They LOVED sitting at home, thinking of themselves as heroes, and calling the police on their neighbors for having guests over.

Seeing all of that play out in real time was absolutely documented and will be a central part of the next scam they attempt to pull off.

Yup. Social media is key. And as much as Elon annoys me sometimes, thank God he bought Twitter.
