I’m not promoting losing money you cannot afford…

But yes, I think LSU wins this game 27-24

You are an absolute fool to bet on this LSU team considering how they've played so far. LSU hasn't lost to Vandy since 1990 but this isn't typical Vandy. This team is more than capable of beating a bad offensive LSU team who tries to find ways to keep other teams in the game. it's on the road and they got a bye week coming off a loss. There's absolutely no way I'd be dumping that kind of change on this team.

LSU's scoring offense is absolutely abysmal. Even after all that "improvement" against SC they still couldn't muster more than 20 points. SC is a bad team too while Vandy is not. Considering how flat they are in every game they start with BK's prep on the road I ain't touching this game.

The only major positive I'd give LSU right now is Pavia had his worst game against LSU last year and this defense is much better than that one. However, that was on the road this is at home. Totally different environment.

Why is anyone down voting this bet. It's not your money. Let him have some fun.

Not sure if it was the 1990 game but I remember beating heavy on LSU vs Vandy in that time frame and we were giving a bunch of points and lost out right. Last time I bet on LSU was home opener against Houston giving up 35 in 1997. Dinardo lifted Faulk's suspension in the 4th quarter and he scored 21 to win 35-34. Not sure I've bet on LSU since other than a friendly bet.

To me it's hard to bet on a team you love because the heart doesn't follow the logic.

But you do you. We should win. "SHOULD" being the key word.

Hmm, I was at game and Faulk played whole game...and it was 1996 season opener.

Down 20, we came back to win..

What is a road game looking like at Vandy these days? Can't imagine it being a super intimidating atmosphere.

Never bet more than you can afford to lose. If risking 3k isn’t a big deal to you and you enjoy gambling, go for it. Other wise, don’t.

It might have been 96 instead of 97 and was the season opener. I just looked it up and you are correct he did play the whole game. I must have misremembered, but in the fourth and ran a punt back for TD and two other TD's in the game to win 35-34.

There are hundreds of bets I'd make this week, before betting on LSU ML this week.

if you could afford it, you wouldn’t ask here and it wouldn’t be your nut for the year.

I believe capacity at their place is somewhere around 35K. If we lose to Vandy, it won't be because of a hostile environment. That's one excuse off of the table.
