Well, that should certainly open some spots for smaller media.

It'll be funny when the big news has to source their stories from @JimBob88 on X.

No one cares. Maybe some real journalists will replace them.

Fine, we don’t have CIA Journalist roaming the halls of Langley. Pretty sure they are t allowed to wander around the DoS or SCOTUS either. I am 100% certain WH journalists aren’t allowed free rein to the WH. So why is the Pentagon different?

Pentagon access is a privilege, not a right. So, here is
@DeptofWar
press credentialing FOR DUMMIES:

? Press no longer roams free

? Press must wear visible badge

? Credentialed press no longer permitted to solicit criminal acts

DONE. Pentagon now has same rules as every U.S military installation

The big one is that reporters can no longer solicit/report "unauthorized" information. This means a reporter must verify with the pentagon that whatever they report is allowed.

If you wont agree to not break into restricted areas , then you shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the Pentagon.

So in other words, they don't want the press reporting leaks.

They're going to be left with Indies and OAN.

And that's fine with me. The demands weren't even ridiculous.

Freedom of press not, freedom of access.

They'll make shite up anyway.
