Is defense starting to crack because of the wear and tear of being on field so much?

It's great to see LSU finally have a good defense, but at some point, the offense has to start carrying its fair share of the load or injuries are going to start piling up. Due to the talent discrepancy of the SEC, injuries are more likely to occur simply because of the size and athleticism of the players. We did improve last week, but we still have a long way to go on the offensive side.

Yeah, the defense has more pressure on them to over achieve, knowing the offense is downright putrid almost every week.

I pulled my hamstring after banging your mom 10 straight nights for 2 hours at a time.

It’s football, injuries happen all the time. We literally lost an OL doing pregame warmup drills.

Uhh, ask L’Norris Sellers if they were on the field too long. I bet he would agree with you.

The last game we gave up 10 points and completely shut down a dual threat QB.

WTF do you want?

We are leading our opponents 31/29 in time of possession. I think our defense is very capable of staying on the field.

This is the dumbest bullshite I’ve read here today, and that’s an unimaginably low bar.

Every now and then the defense is going to need a break. Good thing the back to back 3 and outs happened at the very beginning of the 1st quarter and not in the 3rd or 4th.

Injuries happen in all levels of football and not just in the SEC because they are "strong" lmao. this is a bad take

Would be nice if offense could stop going 3 & out so often.

Cracking from injuries maybe not being on the field too long. Seems like DL is starting to rake up injuries luckily neither Butler/Gooden are badly hurt.

Survive next 2 weeks and get some much needed rest before the final gauntlet to the season.
