I know OSU is #1 in the country but we’ve got to do something to sign Bradford

Just buy another one in the portal to go along with Spears next year. Missing out on HS recruits isn’t as bad as it used to be. To be honest, Les Miles style recruiting would be great today bc he signed great classes with holes in every one of them. The portal would fill those holes now and he’d have some great teams in today’s football world.

You're either young or fairly new to recruiting. While it would be great to get Bradford, loading in the portal with high quality transfers seems to be the more likely good scenario. LSU flipped a defense with high quality transfers. The DBs are a mix of high quality transfers and high quality high school players. The backups now are guys who were starting last year. That's depth. LSU beat Florida with two starting LBs out. That's depth. LSU sacked Sellers 5 times (and would have been more if he wasn't so damn strong), and they did it while missing multiple guys on the DL. That's depth.
LSU has some high quality high schoolers in the fold at DB and some very athletic freshman already on the team. Pair them with a couple high quality transfers, and you got great depth. Hell, LSU might not need much DB help in the portal this next year.

He unfortunately wants to ride the pine at OSU for 3 years. Hopefully the one year he might play there he stays healthy and develops!

Have you seen how he’s dropping in the ratings…..saw he was #4 safety now. Is he playing better or is it he’s committed and now the ratings want to highlight somebody else.

I was told on this board that the only reason he was headed to Ohio State was Petitto. So he should flip to LSU if those posters were correct. I don't think they are but I hope I'm wrong.

It was A reason not THE reason. They’re are plenty of reasons a top safety would want to go to Ohio State.

There is still a lot of time to flip Bradford.
This program needs to prove it’s a playoff program again. Everyone never shuts the frick up about NIL but these guys want to be a contender. Just a gut feeling but I think he flips if we are in the playoffs early December.

Agreed. Losing Bradford really isn’t as impactful as it would have been a couple of years ago.

Not sure Bradford is one of those players. Even if we sign him I'm not sure he hangs around more than a year or so before a bigger bag gets thrown in his lap.
You need a mix of both recruits and transfers, and your recruits need to be committed to the team for them to be of any value going forward.

If you follow it long enough, what you’ll learn is the paid sites spit out a bunch of bs to get clicks and generate excitement. Most of it is complete bs. Then you have posters pop up here within 10 minutes of the paid sites updates and they post the same thing that was just said on the pay sites updates only they’ll swear they have sources and the timing is just an ongoing coincidence.
People here get excited and scream we gettin errrbody and end up disappointed bc inevitably we don’t. Nobody does.
All that to say nothing seems to have changed with Bradford, he looks like a kid who just wants to leave the state and the new front office hires haven’t done much thus far from what we can tell as casual fans.
