There are reasons why certain organizations across sports are terrible year in and year out

Well, baker had OBJ and Landry and Mayfield wouldn’t pass the ball to them. OBJ gets traded to the Rams and tears it up . OBJ had a point

I wouldn't say he tore it up with the Rams, but he was decent

??

OBJ only played 6 games in 21. Landry played 12. And Baker played hurt the whole season and was rewarded with an alleged sexual deviant to replace him. Baker could have went on IR yet chose to try and help the team who promptly fricked him.

Go look at 2020 stats. OBJ played 7 games. Perhaps he should have played hurt to get more passes thrown his way.

In 2019 OBJ had over 1,000 yards.

OBJ is flamboyant Louisiana homo that no one should ever take seriously nor have any pride in.

Mayfield has been winning without Evans, Godwin, and this last game Bucky Irving out. As well as multiple starting OL.

Cleveland has had a QB problem going back to even Tim Couch (and they absolutely ruined with him no OL).

They honestly haven't had actual stability at QB since Bernie Kosar, whom oddly enough half the fanbase seemed to hate.

You are correct. I am not sure whether he is regarded as a "bust" but in reality he was pretty good. He got destroyed every game until he broke down physically.

Browns last 2 consecutive back-to-back winning seasons were in the late 80's. That was almost 40 years ago! You wonder how any team can be that consistently inept.

Crazy when you think about that stretch of last back to back winning seasons you referenced, from '86-89, made it to the AFC Conference Championship game three of those four seasons.

Then they wheels came off, and they've been a shitshow franchise ever since. Four playoff appearances since the 1989 season, where they lost the AFC Champ game to Denver. Two playoff wins.
