You know what else we have more of? Black people and statistically black people have a shorter life than whites. I think the gap in expectancy is around 4-5 years.

That gap widens in the South

Start with Native Americans in NE New Mexico, the counties that are tribal lands. Look at parts of Oklahoma, not as pure Indian but many many genes.

Then look at the cotton belt.

A % alcoholic overlay would be interesting as would a drug overlay. For the drugs, how many were saved from overdoses might be numbers that are reports (or the number of doses provided per county).

I know that the south is fat, but damn Mississippi! Only one single county that isn't obese.
