Starting to get very disappointed.

1. Massive deficit spending continues

2. War in Ukraine and other foreign entanglements continue

3. No mass deportations

4. Foreigners continue to steal jobs from Americans via H1B/OPT/EAD/O1/H1 visas at an alarming rate

5. Not one arrest or any accountability for Spygate or other government abuses

6. Epstein files buried

7. Healthcare for illegals will be funded

8. DOGE neutered before it could even do anything

The same they accomplished during Trump’s first term when they had both houses of Congress, absolutely nothing. They don’t support Trump and fight him at every turn

Starting to get very disappointed.

1. Massive deficit spending continues.... Doge cut lots of funding.

2. War in Ukraine and other foreign entanglements continue. Still working but .... As President, Trump has brokered peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Cambodia and Thailand, Israel and Iran, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, India and Pakistan, Egypt and Ethiopia, Serbia and Kosovo, and with the Abraham Accords. Finally between Israel and Hamas.

3. No mass deportations .... Then what are all the Anti ICE people screaming about?

4. Foreigners continue to steal jobs from Americans via H1B/OPT/EAD/O1/H1 visas at an alarming rate. Something about India recently.

5. Not one arrest or any accountability for Spygate or other government abuses. Comey is the start.

6. Epstein files buried According to sworn testimony by Pam Bondi Dick Durbin has stopped it.(Don't ask me I'm just reporting).

7. Healthcare for illegals will be funded. Government shutdown because of this.

8. DOGE neutered before it could even do anything...Say what?

You sound like the Jews in the Bible who whined so much about how God delivered them from Egypt that He made them wander for 40 years in the desert so the whiners would die off and they could start over.

I've started to believe Trump is just an egoist. He wants credit for everything he throws money at to fix, yet doesn't want to share any of the blame.

I'm with you nugget - so far, this isn't the admin we thought we were getting.

MAGA is a lot less exciting since there have been no tangible results. High prices notwithstanding.

And Kash should be out on his arse.

Domestically, Trump has been pretty fricking disappointing so far. Inflation has slowed down tremendously, my retirement accounts are at all-time highs and still growing, and I had to pay the price of some criminals being deported to get that.

His foreign policy has been atrocious as well. He's ending wars around the world, including a massive one causing, in the other side's words, "genocide".

I'm tired of this shite.

Cutting at least some spending is why the government is (somewhat) shut down. There simply aren't enough elected officials who value fiscal responsibility over their own chances at re-election to fix this. It would take a cut of ~1/3 of total spending just to balance the budget and service the debt. Voting for a budget that lean is political suicide.

2. War in Ukraine and other foreign entanglements continue

What do you want? The US to declare war on every country involved in a war?

quote:

3. No mass deportations

Are you drunk, high, stupid or all three? We've seen over 200k deportations already, that's almost as much as the entire year of 2024. Along with that, Trump has had to fight off constant attempts at judicial legislation in order to get that 200k out the door. Also, because of the aggressiveness of the deportations, it's estimated that far more than that have already self-deported.

4. Foreigners continue to steal jobs from Americans via H1B/OPT/EAD/O1/H1 visas at an alarming rate

Agreed.

5. Not one arrest or any accountability for Spygate or other government abuses

Kevin Clinesmith was arrested, but his penalty was a joke. Comey is under indictment. The big issue here isn't the research needed to hold these people accountable, but politically favorable juries (for the Left) being the norm there.

6. Epstein files buried

Agreed.

7. Healthcare for illegals will be funded

It's not a done deal yet. If it happens, it's going to be a red line for a lot of conservative voters come mid-terms.

8. DOGE neutered before it could even do anything

It got further than I thought it would. Gutting the USAID slush fund was pretty big.

One thing Trump has accomplished:

He has made Americans highly aware that Bibi runs America.

I'm failing to grasp why people are downvotiing this statement. Is it denial, or the truth being uncomfortable, or a combination of the two?

The GOPe always does this when they have the power to actually do things for the American people. They waffle and blame democrats for things they can accomplish with ZERO Democrat support.

For anyone who has ever wondered, there is little to no doubt left- The GOPe is a spineless group of cowards that are actually afraid to wield the powers they possess, and even more afraid to use them. These stooges would rather be the minority Controlled Opposition Wing of the Establishment Uniparty than to ever actually lead.

There are a few such as Anna Paulina Luna, Brandon Gill and Tim Burchett that have quickly risen to the top of my 'favorite politicians" list, because they are actually trying to enact real, tangible change. Look at Nick Begich (R-AK) and what he's doing in refusing his own paycheck while the government is shut down, and that's someone who's putting their money where their mouth is. That's what every single spineless GOPe stooge should be doing, but instead they're collecting their checks and dancing around masturbating for the media.

In summary, 95% of Congress members make me feel physically ill because of their combination of incompetence and blatant dereliction of duty. These motherfrickers haven't done their primary job, which is to pass an annual balanced budget that isn't an omnibus or continuing resolution, since 1996. There are posters on this board that are adults with children, who weren't even born yet the last time Congress did their job.

ETA: spelling.

Slowly ridded America of the deep state control and exposed the Democrats for the shite they are.

The Democratic Party has their lowest approval rating in 50+ years.
