Mobile County Sheriff in hot water over ICE inspired Halloween decorations.

Michelle Burch, the sheriff’s wife, told WALA that she makes “tongue-in-cheek Halloween decorations” every year.
“I like decorating for Halloween and other holidays and rotate these decorations periodically. My husband has nothing to do with these, other than mowing the grass around them. I made this one, playing both on my Cuban background and new, needed changes in federal immigration enforcement,” she said. “My parents were legal immigrants, and I have plenty of immigrants throughout my family. I’ll make a new one shortly – we have no shortage of topics to cover.”

Burch defended the deputy’s actions, saying the man was resisting arrest.
“If you comply, this isn’t gonna happen, and the other individuals, yes, they ran, but they complied once deputies caught them,” Burch said. “There was no further engagement, but if you fight my deputies, we’re gonna win cause my job is to make sure they go home.”

Funny? Kind of. Appropriate for a higher level government official that works with ICE? Probably not.

Unrealistic. That fence is definitely harder to cross than the southern border

So you think it's inappropriate for an ICE-supporting sheriff in law enforcement to decorate in a way that portrays criminals being chased by law enforcement?

I think it's inappropriate for a government official to lampoon his own job with shitty Halloween decorations, yes. I'd also think it would be inappropriate for an higher ranking ATF agent to have a skeleton next to a P320.

Why do we care about the sensitivities of illegal criminals and bitchy Karens? Weren't these the same type of people that were celebrating CK's assassination a couple of weeks ago? But now an ICE shirt and a sombrero offends them. Who gives a shite?

I didn't take offense, nor do I want this guy fired, I just said it was inappropriate.
