This is exactly as expected.
Larry Ellison now controls TikTok while his son David Ellison now controls Paramount/Skydance which is CBS. To solidify the objective of TikTok, new algorithms will be implemented, while to solidify the objective of CBS, Bari Weiss is hired as Editor-in-Chief of news.
