LSU could still lose 2-4 games. So, maybe the schedule isn't as easy as it needs to be for this team.

@Clemson
@OleMiss
@Vandy
A&M
@Bama
@Oklahoma

While it’s not the hardest schedule in the SEC, associating the word “easy” with our schedule is way incorrect.

Speaking of schedules (non-SEC related thought)… Penn St has Zero Power4 wins…. And we’re in October!!

we still have A&M, at Bama and at OU, all top 10 teams...plus Vandy on the road...

That is four really tough games...

I will say this. There's only 4 teams right now you can definitely say they look like a top 10 team. Oklahoma also has a hurt QB, so they probably will drop some due to that despite them looking good and having a brutal defense.

Arguably, Oklahoma is the best team in the SEC right now.

Good shot you're going to see multiple 3 loss teams slip into the playoffs so it's not unrealistic LSU slides in now at 3 losses. Which they almost surely will have. Bama and Oklahoma on the road is almost certainly losses. Vanderbilt is probably going to be a battle on the road. TAMU defense will eat Nuss alive. Arkansas is terrible but they're a rival so usually how good teams are is thrown out the window. SC is terrible but they can't forget the game at home last year against LSU.

No gimmes. Need to find a way to win 4 out of the next 6 but ideally 5 out of the next 6 which seems highly unrealistic. I think LSU loses at least 3 more games. I'd point to the 3 road games but I think it will be TAMU, Bama, and Oklahoma LSU loses to. Vanderbilt I don't know, Pavia had one of his worst games against LSU last year and LSU has a way better defense this year.

Peaking Vandy on the road
Bama on the road
Peaking OU on the road, may have Mateer back?

Easy?

Terrible offensive coaching staff can lose to anybody with a pulse.

Kelly sat on his hands with Davis and Sloan in a year he knew he had to make the playoffs.
