From what I see so far it would be a downgrade from what we have now (Rattler) at QB. I could be wrong but Arch is not the answer.

Archie said before the season started Arch needed to come back to college next season.

Media ran wild and hyped the hell out of him.

Arch could be the answer but not for any NFL team in 2026

Tried to tell yall he was trash.

He only looked good when he played those private schools with 5'8" white kids as their DBs. Once he played actual talent, bro was BAD.

Sounds like they wish Ewers would have stayed.

Announcers sure make a lot of excuses for him.
He is inaccurate and very green. I wouldn’t count him out from developing, but no way in hell should he declare for the 26 draft.

I'd still take him if he comes out. Might regret it, but I'm a believer in the pedigree

Well , both his NFL QB uncles prepped at Newman as well.

They probably went up against 5'8 white DBs during high school too

Arch can run better than both of them.

Let's see what he does next year in college.

Kinda a tone deaf post in a Manning family thread.

Which is what exactly? That the WR of the Manning family fricked his wife?

pedigree doesn't come from collateral relatives ie uncles.

It comes from your direct descendants. His father is Cooper, who sucked and was diagnosed with spinal stenosis.

Arch was doomed from the start

Eli and Peyton didn't light the world on fire their first few stats either. I'll be surprised if he doesn't get really good. It's moot though, he won't come out till his stock is at its peak

I’m gonna have to disagree on that one. Peyton came in due to injuries and looked good from the get go. I don’t think he ever had below a 60% passing rate his college career. Eli had a rough freshman year, but he only threw 30 or so passes that year. After that, he looked good the rest of his college career.

Eli came in his freshman year against WVU in the bowl game and damn near made a comeback from like 5 TDs down.

Sorry but neither Eli or Peyton were this rough even at the start

Yeah , but in this case I was referring to Newman.

Both Payton and Eli played at Newman against inferior opponents , yet they went onto major programs and on to NFL.

Every Newman QB is an NFL hall of famer?

You meant the Manning pedigree but this is Cooper’s pedigree, not Archie. Newman means nothing other than making Arch look good till he played any team with a pulse.

Arch has potential. He moves in the pocket very well. Made some dumb throws today, yes. But he’s going to stay at UT in 2026 and get better.

If Arch isn’t careful he won’t be playing at Texas next year unless he rides the bench.
