Florida requires a thorough background check. The Jessica Lundsford Act put it into play. Every teacher, Administrator or contractor is required to be checked and must be renewed every three years. No one gets past the office without the check. If I went for a child, I wore my badge and actually was allowed pass the office gates.

He was offered a similar position in Pennsylvania, but they couldn’t hire him because he wouldn’t submit his credentials. Didn’t raise any flags or questions by the council… just next man up. It’s obviously an open secret everywhere.
