Ruiz has TRADE VALUE as a “Solid” Center when healthy; Saints playing him out of position

Hell, Loomis just gave up a 4th for that Dumb Azz WR from Denver !!!
Thing is …. If we are continuing to play him at RG…. He’s not worth the money paid.
Trade His Azz and get what you can for him once he’s healthy …. even if we have to wait til training camp in 2026. !!
Yes it would be nice to keep him as a back up center and guard for depth ( I could half-way live with that scenario ) …

Put him on the market as an available Center /Guard in training camp of 2026 … and you will have some takers.
It won’t be a killer draft pick… maybe a 5th but someone will need an extra offensive lineman who can play both center and guard.
Hell… the Saints need that right now !!!

His base salary jumps from $1.2 million to $9.5 million next season. No one’s trading a 5th for him. Best we can do is swap him for someone else’s undesirable player next preseason.

Good idea except he has zero trade value.
It’s not a secret he’s a liability not only for us but any team.
