Long time reader, big LSU fan since the 90s, first post
The frustrating thing about BK is that he gives the typical coach speak, but there is very little about his personality that is even likable compared to other past coaches.
Of course we’re going to get the typical coach speak, but there’s something about the way BK does it that feels slimey. I think anyone with eyes can tell Nuss is hurt. I understand that as a coach you might not want your team to use it as an excuse and carry on with business as usual, but it’s like he’s bread crumbing us just enough to point to it at the end of the season as an excuse.
I don’t even necessarily care if our coach is “likable”, but when you take this wishy washy approach to how he’s handling the situation you start to wonder if this guy is fit to run the program.

Kelly is a master gaslighter just like all good politicians.

Im listening to Locked on LSU right now. He's playing clips from the presser. Kelly said he wasn't prepared for them dropping 8. What the frick are they doing in that building? I get angrier every day. It's not that hard. Just watch some plays ole miss does and copy them.

BK also had a 10 AM Tee time at BRCC Sunday AM following the loss. Ask yourself this, any chance Kirby Smart was out playing golf Sunday AM following an L? The answer is no and shows that BK is not really committed to winning a championship here.
My golf in the off season - but less than 24 hrs after a loss you can be on the golf course.

Totally agree. Top to bottom just a poor performance. I think we still should have won the game, but I don’t think Nuss has thrown a good deep ball down the seam in stride all year. You mix that with how he’s shrinking away from any contact and short arming darn near every throw, obviously something is up.
He’s right that it’s not just the quarterback’s fault, but as a coach you gotta do something to help him out.

BK is making that 9.9 per year, is comfortable and just coasting towards retirement.
He doesn't GAF. (If he did, Brad Davis would have been long gone already.
The entire Offensive Staff is the equivalent of that horrendous 2023 Defensive Staff. They are all "Used Car Salesmen" that can't effectively coach their position athletes.
In the NIL era, we don't need "Used Car Salesmen" taking up space. NIL "Money Bags" are the great recruiters.
Sloan and Davis are totally drowning in the water that's over their heads. Sloan needs to be a QB or position Coach. Davis should be coaching OL or Holly & Lindsey at Southern. Wilson can't teach his RB's how to find the right hole and Hankton can't teach his WR's how to concentrate and catch a football. Atkins was fired at Florida State and LSU TE's haven't done jack this season.
Just let the season play out, but many of us on here have seen this before and know where it's headed...........(Head Coach Stubbornness and Ego eventually gets them fired or asked to GTFO with a bag of $$$$)

I didn’t hear him say this, but this alone should get him strung up.
You haven’t been able to run the ball effectively all year. If you don’t expect them to drop 8 you are not supposed to be coaching at this level.
You could say I wasn’t prepared for them to sack the QB rushing 3. That is something to be shocked about.

The frick? Baton Rouge Country Club?
He makes 10M a year. He’s not a member of Country Club of Louisiana? He could wipe his arse with that 40K a year fee.

I think that they have given Nuss too much power to check out of the called play and call time outs. Nuss is frustrated (probably because his injury has affected his throwing velocity) and he has no faith in the running game. Because of this he is either not checking to the obvious run play with 3 down, drop 8 or he is changing the play to a pass. He takes too long to run a play, and this gives the defense even more time to screw with him. That is why the only time the offense tends to do anything is when we run tempo and he can't check to another play. Look at Joe Sloan's face in the booth when they show him. It screams of "What are we doing?!"

Trump plays golf and he’s the leader of the free world.
Some of you morons act like because someone takes a few hours to blow off steam they don’t care or they have given up. It’s probably the same people who have never done anything in life remotely with the same level or stress or viability.

Stop with the unlikeable crap. Saban has a personality that makes Attila the Hun seem like a cream puff. But, the insanity of having a (Heisman QB with the worst defense in LSU history) and now the (Worst rushing offense with a really good defense) MUST STOP.

Maybe Sloan needs to get out of the booth and down to field level. Need to find ways to shake things up. If he can’t see what’s going wrong and communicating it from the booth, then try something else - anything!

I think that they are just looking at the optics of the situation. Rather than watching film and finding solutions, he seems to not be interested or involved
