The chewing out would include ways to cut the cost. If you think she meant just complaining with no plan sit down the adults are talking.

Depending on what the doctor charges and how often you go that might be true, but that model only works for a GP. And usually only if you're going to the GP every month or two.
It wouldn't work at all for me. I haven't seen my GP in probably 3-4 years. But I see a cardiologist every six months, an endocrinologist every 3-4 months, and a nephrologist every six months.
And all require labs and a concierge plan doesn't cover labs, nor can it work for specialists like that, nor does it help with medications.
