I've never been a fan of his podcast much, but Kirk's "Prove Me Wrong" was obviously inspired by "Change My Mind." I almost always enjoyed the Change My Mind segments and I'm glad to see them back.

Never understood why someone’s personal life has any bearing on opinions they debate about?
Is it possible to just argue on the merits of his opinions/views? Without bringing in personal issues he had with his wife?

I think the difference with Kirk is that he was preaching Jesus. Even most of his political answers came back to the root...needing Jesus.
Without making Charlie a Saint, He did try to show people who hates Him and his beliefs the love of Jesus. Even if they rejected him for it.

Eh, not really. He told his pregnant wife off on camera while they were going through a separation.
