They've been good in run blocking and awful in pass blocking.

Rattler is okay, but he’s proven to not be good enough to elevate those around him. He’s not the reason we’re losing games, but he’s also not winning us games either. I think he can have a career similar to Chase Daniel & Luke McCown by being a good backup

Rattler will make a serviceable backup in the NFL. That’s his ceiling.

Rattler isn't good. But, he's playing a lot better than could have reasonably been expected.
Still, it's close to time (if not already time) to turn it over to Shough and see what he can do.

I would agree if he wouldn’t continually throw most of his passes behind the receivers. That non TD to Cooks should have been an easy catch if thrown even remotely better.

I'll give you poor pass blocking, but my opinion has always been that you drafted a QB in the 2nd round, so let's see what you have in him before you may have to draft another QB. We've gotten enough of a sample size in Rattler to know that his ceiling is game manager. I want to see what we have in Shough.
