He should never be allowed to hire a football coach again.

I mean, he was a Democrat lobbyist. What did you expect?

I was never excited about Kelly. He typically played an easy schedule at ND, and got exposed when going against real competition. He did have great tight ends and OLines, but the best he has had at LSU were committed before he took over. He was also 59 when we hired, and I really questioned how bad he wanted to win a championship vs. just getting that last big contract.

Don’t like Franklin, but at least Penn State has made the playoffs and can make the playoffs again. I’d kill for that.

Mel Tucker

10 years - $95M for a guy who only had one decent year in his career as a HC.

It was so bad MSU had to get the “rape consultant” to entrap and pretend she was upset Tucker was jerking off on the phone to get out from under the contract

Good point. But Woodward has done it twice now.

The change has to start with the top down. Period.

Jimbo's extension was probably the worst contract in football history, which was signed two years after Woodward was at LSU.

Kelly's is nowhere close to the worst.

Norvel's is worse, DeBoer's is probably worse, Stoops' is definitely worse based on the product, and Napier's is definitely worse considering the product and lack of funds Florida seems to have right now. If you just go by the recent history, Dabo's is also worse,

Yea, nobody acknowledges that Fisher’s extension in 2020 or 2021 or whatever is what actually screwed Texas am

There is evidence to support this claim.

It's amazing how many people do not realize this and I'm sure the A&M Board loves everyone thinking Woodward is the one responsible.

His buyout is in line with how other programs do it. It’s a college football industry issue, not an LSU isolated issue. Take your tampon out and try to be rational.
