I have asked this. Most agree the answer is no.

If he didn’t bench him yesterday, then he isn’t going to. Van Buren might not have passed any better, but at least he could kill them running the ball when they dropped eight every time.

If he didn’t bench him yesterday when playing like arse with the game in the balance, he never will.

The only way Nuss is not QB1 is a real injury that prevents him from playing in any capacity

I would hope at the very least Van Buren gets more practice reps than probably the small amount he was getting before this game.

He played pretty well last season at Mississippi State. I am sure he would relish the opportunity to get his chance in some meaningful minutes.

It’s obvious the injury is worse than anyone is saying. He can’t spin the football. The downfield throws are awful.

No. Kelly has lost this team. Did you see (on camera) him chewing out the O line. Three were just “looking away” from him.

Nuss is just padding his pro career.

The back up QB will not make this situation better.

Let’s hope we have a back up OC

No he doesn't.

He didn't fix the defense in 2023. You waiting on him to fix the offense in 2025? Good luck.

He’s a stubborn a-hole. He will dig in and attack any press that push it.

Nobody is hating on Nuss worse than Nuss right now.

His whole life post-LSU has collapsed. He’ll go down in infamy as a failed QB immediately after his predecessor was a Heisman winner.

He’ll be a 3-4th rounder at this point. Maybe worse.

Watching the offensive coordinator call 50 yard bombs downfield when your QB “might” have an injury and can’t throw 40 yards downfield is dumbfounding… why call pass plays you see your QB struggling to complete from the start of the game..fortunately some of these errant passes didn’t get a WR hurt other than Anderson…

The only way Nuss is going out is if he physically can’t play. Kelly is not benching Nuss. Forget about it!
