Spin off from premium fuel thread. Can you buy a bottle of octane booster and put it in with regular fuel and get better results than premium?
An octane booster bottle is much cheaper than buying 15 gallons or more of premium when premium is $1 more a gallon

I refuse to believe any of those fuel treatments make any difference whatsoever.

Drive an older high mileage vehicle for a couple days, after a couple days buy a can of seafoam and follow the instructions.
You will 100% be able to tell the difference

I know that the Seafoam that you hook up to your gas line makes a difference, but I never put in stock into any of the gas additives. I could be wrong.

do not put any higher octane fuel in your vehicle than it specifically says use. vehicles are highly engineered and designed specifically for certain fuel. high octane fuel burns hotter and if a vehicles isn't designed for that higher heat, it absolutely will have destructive effects. every part in the system is affected by higher heat.
stop trying to beat the system. pre mid 90's you could do what you are attempting but it is not possible now.

True but it won't raise 87 to near 91. Enough to "roll your own" will cost more money plus you are left guessing.

Chevron is nitrogen-enriched!! We all know what a powerful energy source nitrogen is.
