Tines are short and velvet makes him look bigger. 125 is my guess. However if he is a trophy in your eyes who cares what it scores.

This is at my place in Woodville. It’s a good deer for where we are. I took off Thursday and Friday. Gonna hunt him hard. Never killed one in velvet

Get him. Be prepared to spend some money on the mount. Figure an extra $150 to $200 on top of regular mounting fees for velvet.

He’ll definitely lose a lot of mass when that velvet drops so I’ll say 125-130. I don’t think people realize how big an 8 point is that can score 140-150.
