One high school game that isn't being played tonight

Mostly white school vs. mostly black school in West Alabama. White school had a "Safari" theme. Black school principal canceled the game in protest. People were like "I know those kids and they should be held accountable." Turns out it was a photo from a Wisconsin church camp.
LINK
A photo in a Facebook post deemed racially insensitive that sparked an outrage in the community and resulted in the cancelation of the 101st edition of one of Alabama high school football's greatest rivalries originated not from a Gordo High School dress-up day, as the principal indicated in a statement, but rather came from the website of a faith-based camp more than 1,000 miles away, The Tuscaloosa News has learned.
This is the picture that canceled the game.

The black principal thought THAT was the opposing school's football team? I bet you dollars to chicken wings they call him Dr. Principal.
Plus... what's racial about safaris?
Lastly... what a buffoon... not even an associated photo.

They have received their marching orders. They know the fatigue has set in. This is not their first rodeo.

Eager to be offended. Looking for opportunities to be a victim. Prematurely jumping at the chance to scream "racist!"

Eager because they need to be aggrieved for sympathy and so that liberal white twats kneel for them.

Weak minded, overly emotional children

The state should make them forfeit the game.

They should have to forfeit. One side was ready and willing to play, the other side refused to play because they got their feelings hurt. That’s exactly how forfeits are supposed to work.

The part that I don't get. These schools are eight miles away.
Community members at the offended school were adamant that they knew these kids and "named them." Then the picture ends up being a 10 year old picture from Google Images from college kids in Wisconsin.

Nothing. I mean they're in Africa but most people probably associate it with a positive connotation considering people spend a fortune to go their on vacation.

Apparently all those white kids look alike.

I know when I was in HS and all 3 of my kids had a “hunt the (insert mascot)” pep rally/dress up week every season. And we have multiple all black schools that were on the schedule at Ouachita and some when my kids were at WM.

There's a safari in Salley, SC... you drive through with your windows down and interact with emus, zebras, camels, all kinds of cow, ostrich, etc...
I love me a safari!

Wonder if maybe there was a reason they didn’t want to play? Injuries to key players?
Or if they just wanted to get on the victim train.

That’s where people go to see blacks that were left in their natural habitat. Can’t have that symbolism.
