LSP releases video - Trooper Involved Shooting - Lafourche Parish

Louisiana State Police Release Video of Trooper-Involved Shooting in Lafourche Parish
Louisiana State Police Detectives continue the investigation into a Trooper-involved shooting that occurred September 8, 2025, in Lafourche Parish. In accordance with LSP Policy and Procedure, a Critical Incident Briefing Video (CIBV) has been produced and includes body-worn camera and dashboard camera footage. Only known facts are given in the CIBV, and some of the recordings have been redacted to afford involved individuals their right to privacy or to protect witnesses and/or victims. Viewer discretion is advised for children and sensitive viewers.
The investigation, conducted by the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations – Force Investigation Unit, remains active and ongoing. No further information is available at this time. Additional details regarding the shooting will be released in coordination with the Lafourche Parish District Attorney’s Office when appropriate.

Pretty cut and dry here. Good shoot.
Suspect takes off running through an open field after a long high speed chase over 22 miles, falls to the ground, turns and fires a handgun at the LSP officer. LSP officer very quickly (pretty badass-ly actually) switches from his tazer to his gun and unloads on perp.
Officer waits on backup to arrive right behind him, then they approach perp and take pictures of gun in hand before disarming him and performing aid.
Couldn't have done it any better. Now where is Dex Morgan?
