Taking Bell directly from LSU and players that both teams recruited like Sentimore, Lacey, Richardson.

LSU did manage to hold on to a lot of the guys from Louisiana that both teams wanted, but got waxed head-to-head on a bunch.

During his announcement....Bell looked like he wanted to be a tiger but was stuck at bama after he knew RR was heading this way. Miles did just fine.....

i don't think LSU even recruited lacey and had les recruited sentimore hard from the beginning he would have been a tiger. saban won with kenny bell and richardson. miles won with randle and jackson

Bell was the only surprise and it wasn't a back and forth battle. Just decided to switch in the end.

Bell didn't want to play with Randle for some reason. Sentimore we got in on late, Lacy we never recruited, and Richardson was a win for Bama. Bama did recruit Randle very hard, so that seems to be a big win.

Curiously you left out Ruben Randle who was recruited hard by both and was the #2 player overall.

LSU didn't go after Lacy or Sentimore until late.

Are you kidding? Bama wanted Randle, Shepard, Jackson, Montgomery, Ford. Please, throttle. Head to head, we beat a-hole on the best two players in the nation with Shepard and Randle. Douche bag won't get Jackson either even though he tried to steal him right under our feet in a truly sad attempt to take him from us. Get your facts straight please. Richardson and Sentimore commited early to Bama and we talked to them AFTER they committed. We didn't get in the picture for them until way late in the game.

LSU didn't offer Sentimore a scholarship to play football until 4 days ago.

Eddie Lacy has been a grade/"issues" risk from the very beginning, and was NEVER recruited by LSU in any capacity other than enough to NOT get the head coach of his HS pissed off at LSU.

Richardson is from Florida, not Louisiana, so I don't know why that's relevant.

Bell is, well, (I'll try not to "bash" here) not that wise if he left LSU's class due to depth only to join Alabama's class with 2 more receivers and Julio Jones.

Nah! Miles' class is better than Saban's. Saban didn't take Bell, Bell just pussied out because he couldn't compete with Randle.

As far as Bell is concerned RR said they are good friends and didn't want to go head to head with each other, and made the decision to go in different directions instead.

Sentimore said that LSU didn't recruit him very hard, although he preferred to go to LSU.

We did lose out on Richardson.

I love comments like this. LSU got every player they wanted, probably 7 of Bama recruits won't qualify, Bama oversigns by 15 players... and
Miles supposedly loses head to head.

LSU players are fully qualified
LSU does not intentionally oversign

LSU got exactly what they needed. The rest are
filling round pegs into not so round circles.

LSU, based on wants, needs and talent signed... is the experts #1 class. No amount of arse kissing by Ohio State or Bama classes can change that. We don;t sign 32 players like Bama did last year, or 37 like the Rebs did. Saban ONLY got the LSU kids that were not LSU's first choice. The only exception/question is Kelly, who simply felt there was too much WR talent at LSU to play. I don't blame him for taking the easy way out.

We have probably more character on this class. than any class in the history of LSU, and it's also the most talented. I'll take 100 Sheps before 100 Trent Richardsons any day. TR will probably be sharing an apartment/cell with Glen Coffee soon enough.

And this might be why ESPN and Sporting News think we're the best. No questionmarks on the field, ot in the classroom, or if they'll man up when they have to.

Miles did a better job than Saban.
And everyone else. And they know it.
