Have to be in Buffalo on Saturday related to the Saints who are playing there on Sunday. Looking for a bar in the Buffalo area that may have a LSU alumni connection or just a Tiger fanbase to watch the game Saturday.

Any recommendations?

I tried DMing Reid Ferguson and Tre white when I was in Buffalo for the 2019 Vandy game. Neither responded, I watched at some random bar downtown. Hope that helps

Did some research for you, and it seems like the people of Buffalo don't even know that college football exists. People even said you will probably have to ask for it to be put on in bars...

With that said... I am sure it won't be hard to find a cool dive/sports bar downtown that will put it on for you.

We are going to Southern Tier Brewery for LSU and Ryder Cup. They have large screens. It's near their Canal area. Saints board recommended it.

Was up there in 2023 when we played Missouri and ran into several local LSU fans at Tully’s in Williamstown. Was treated very well and we all celebrated the win. Good times!

Evidently they watch all the LSU games there and the bartender reserves a spot for them. They are not from BR, never met any alumni or folks from Louisiana - just adopted LSU. Told stories all game.

Tully's Good Times Main & Transit Rd Just northeast of the Buffalo airport.

i was @ Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, RPI, in Troy, NY, about 20-25 years ago… very high tech school, did some under- and grad-uate work there, and it is a solid college town and area, high tech schools and businesses everywhere… there were people there connected to lsu, and it is really college town… so there might be some lsu and saints connections in the area, definitely a college area… thank god the saints did not have to geaux up there in december or january… i guess anytime after thanksgiving is questionable… troy is a distance from buffalo, so it may be out of your way, but maybe you csn use the information… good luck…

I don’t know, but just a hunch: Dick & Jenny’s closed their Tchoupitoulas location after Katrina, and they opened an eponymous restaurant in Buffalo. If they are still in business it would be worth calling them to see.

Why did I read the title as “watch bar” and immediately thought it was some flex cult of Rolex aficionados with ties to LSU instead of a place to watch the game in Buffalo? Good luck finding a place and sorry I’m both a dumbass and can’t help.

We were in Buffalo a couple of years ago on vacation and when this couple saw our LSU gear on they acknowledged us. Turns out it was Bill Polian and some of his family. We talked a little LSU football. I know it didn’t work out for his son here, but the family are really nice, classy people.

On a forum, someone mentioned Tully’s Good Times (Main & Transit Rd, near the Buffalo airport area) as a bar where LSU fans gather and the game gets shown.

Like NYC, Boston, Philly, and other eastern cities they tend to be Michigan, Ohio State, or Notre Dame fans. Upstate NY has Michigan fans. NYC and the Tri-State area has a number of Michigan fans. Buffalo has Syracuse fans.
