I don't get the flat bill, I curve mine as soon as I get it.

I don’t get it either. The best is when you see some 40 something travel ball dad with a flat bill for his kids 10U team.

Flat bills and neck tats seem to go together.

Fitted, low profile. No excuse for any other.

I say, let whomever wear their hat in whatever way they want. I thought this was America.

It's not a whatever thread, I do agree to wear what you want, it's a personal preference thread.

Visors always curved. You white people always wanting to impede airflow off the head, I don't get it.

Bill of the visor, plus sunglasses, should eliminate sun from your face, nearly exclusively.

I switch between flat bill, slight curve and hard curve depending on the hat.

Hell, I have two LSU baseball “on-field” team hats. One from 2000 and one from last year. They couldn’t be more different stylistically.

FWIW: The 2000 LSU top of the world baseball hat with TIGERS on the back is the GOAT.

Flat bill cap story…

When my daughter was 14 there was some dipshit little skater boy that had a crush on my daughter and she thought he was so cute. One weekend she asked if he and some of their friends could come to house to swim. Well when they showed up he had his dorky flat bill cap on. After changing into swim suit, he left his clothes neatly folded on our dining room table along with everyone else’s. While they were swimming, I curved the brim of his cap and put it back on table. The look on his face when he came back in and saw it was priceless. When he picked it up and looked at it I told him I noticed he hadn’t had time to shape the bill on his new cap and helped him out with it. To the kids credit, he actually thanked me. Needless to say, he didn’t want to date my daughter after that.

I’m not a fan of the super curved bill and haven’t been for years. I buy hats that have the look I want without having to curve the bill.

It’s between the curve it myself guy and flat bill guy. The 24/7 MVP trucker hat has a slight curve to the bill, lower profile, and mesh back to let your head breathe.

Richardson 112 is another good one.

So you took a young kids hat, that he obviously liked, and ruined it? That’s cool I guess.

Even better he thanked you and seemed like a good kid. Not sure why you’re so proud of that story.

I’m not sure when leaving the sticker/tag on a hat became a thing. Immediately lets me know someone isn’t intelligent.

Us with glasses need to medium curve. If you go full curve with glasses, the frames will not allow you to pull the hat all the way down.

This leaves you with the Les Miles look.

As a softball umpire, when a 6U or 8U coach comes to the plate meeting wearing a flat bill cap and a complete uniform head to toe with cleats, pants and MLB style button up jersey I know this clown will be a complete pain in the arse until he loses both bracket games
