They are going heavy on the Grogu. Seems like they want the kids to see it, but I'm not sure kids were watching the Mandalorian.

Hmm.

The Mandalorian can… at times… exceed expectations, so there’s that.

But… hmm.

As long as it actually stays focused on the two main characters and their storyline and doesn’t go too far off course, it should work out. But let’s see.

Will average Joe moviegoers give a damn about these TV show characters?

Eventually, maybe Disney will figure out that what Star Wars fans want is a dude like Mando fricking shite up. That is what we got to see in animated Clone Wars series. Fans do not want to be inundated with 2 hour long toy commercials.

Nope. Mando/Grogu tricked me twice already. They got my hopes up and then dashed them twice with terrible shifts in the story.

There won't be a third time.

frick right off Disney.

Wow .. well put. A bunch of shiny shite and flashing lights to distract from a glaring lack of any real substance or emotional depth.

They don’t have enough story for a whole season without a bunch of “filler” episodes. People hated filler episodes.

The main viewership will be on Disney+ anyway. We opted out of the Disney Star Wars series after Obi Wan. We're more likely to invest a couple of hours to watch this than to trudge through another drawn out series.

well, apparently they frick it up because the imperial remnants somehow form a first order with enough know how to build a base that can wipe out an entire solar system.

Oh and they missed all those star destroyers palpatine had hidden away.

frick the sequels so hard.

that AT-AT falling looks like 2001 era CGI and this movie looks like more Disney Star Wars garbage.

also, Pedro Pascal. ugh.
