When people state the Saints are horrible and have possibly the worst roster in the league… they are not lying.. it’s simply a fact.

If another poster cannot accept this fact… go see your Ex … kick your dog, drink a beer, whatever….. BUT you Cannot lash-out to those fans stating facts about the team and organization being garbage.

Loomis’s leadership and management have brought us to this point.

Compounding the Issue:
Saints ownership have allowed Loomis to bring Saints to this point with no negative repercussions now or in the future.

Gayle will just continue her dinners at Commanders and keep a very low public profile as it pertains to BOTH Saints and Pelicans…
All the while cashing tens of millions of dollars in NFL & NBA checks.

Good for her, I guess.
But she has the Reigns.
She has the Authority
Like it or Not.

Now we are in the very very beginning of a much needed Saints rebuild… it’s not fun and the Pain and Misery have only begun….
This will last for Years !!

Study your history of rebuilding NFL organizations… this is how it works !!

Don’t come back here and talk about the “Outlier” cases … look at history of how long it takes the “average team” to rebuild … to decency… then championship quality if they are lucky !!

It’s not anyone’s fault if some Saints fans were too stupid to not see this coming…

Nor is it anybody else’s fault if YOU are not strong enough to endure everything happening now and what’s coming in the next 3-4 years.

********
The ONLY one connected to the Saints Organization who cannot be blamed is Moore.

He inherited this organizations incompetence and it’s fallout; a roster so bad it could be the very worst roster in the league.

He made this deal with the Devil (Saints Organization) because HE gets something very few coaches acquire in heading-up a team.
He gets Control.
Not Total Control because Loomis is unfortunately in the building… but Moore gets a major say in football operations.

That doesn’t exist in every organization.
See the Dallas Cowboys and Jerry Jones.
The Dallas Cowboys head coach is totally impotent because of Jerry Jones.

Gayle is a football Moron and leaves control to Loomis and now Moore (Sean Payton in the past)

Is Moore the LongTerm answer ??

No one knows and we have to wait 3 to 4 years to find out if he can salvage this abomination. Again, it’s how rebuilds work.

Moore tried to “get ahead of the rebuild curb” by drafting Shough in the 2nd round of the draft….but that draft move blew up in his face.

At least he tried, I guess.

Just sit back … you have 14 games to endure… in 2025 alone !!
Then comes 2026, 2027.. 2028.

To the Casual Fans … it will be painful.

To Hard Core Football Fans … it will be absolutely brutal and we can only HOPE that Brian Kelly can bring LSU success and a National Title to offset the Saints misery.

Again… IF you can’t deal with it.
That’s YOUR Problem…. Not the boards problem.

Maybe you could become a Falcons or Tulane Fan.

Maybe you can take-up Needle Point.

I grew up a Saints Fan cause I was born and raised in Looziana.

I’m not geauxing anywhere !!

You’ve been WARNED !!

Hahahaha

Just read this board…..
some posters are already demanding Moore be fired… if he geauxs 0-17 in his 1st year.
That’s the mentality.

I'm on record for

A) not being impressed with the hire

B) not being impressed with his draft

C) not being impressed with his insistence to piss draft capital down the toilet for a 27 year old 2nd year, injured, WR

D) He's the worst in game coach I've ever seen and he struggles to take accountability in post game and/or improve game to game

He 100% should be on the chopping block at the end of the season if this madness continues. He should not be allowed to frick up 2 drafts in a row.

we do not Lash out at you because of what you say, we lash out because as soon as anyone disagrees with you, you go full on unhinged teenage girl insults.

we don't take you seriously because all you do is spout negativity. there is positive things to look at, but all you do is just spew negativity,

that is why folks belittle you or call you out.

and FWIW (likely not a lot) I agree - Kellen can only work with what he has. i still think we snag a win or 2, because eventually it will all come together for us. I was skeptical of his hire, but I am all in on him as the HC

What was it five false starts or penalties in a row? That is totally on coaching. Team has zero discipline no fire or anything.

This all on Mickey and his horrible roster construction. Nothing will change as long as he is the GM. Thats the fact

My concern on Moore is some of the questionable play calling that he needs to clean up. Way too many bubble screens with the smallest receiving corp in the league. Was like watching "look out blocks" every time they ran that play.

Pre-snap penalties are eating us alive too. That is discipline that Moore has to instill with the team.

This is the bottom line. Loomis' sorry arse needs to be run out of New Orleans on a rail. He is solely responsible for this crap.

Who else were we going to get? I thought he was the absolute best we could do b/c any knowledgeable good coach would avoid this team like the plague. Salary cap hell, best players are old, horrible talent evaluations for the past 6-7 years and going. Zero elite talent.

I woukd have went in a different direction our first three picks for sure. But I can live with the Banks pick b/c it moved Fuaga back to his natural spot but no way should have drafted Shough at 40. And I thought there were lots of better talent in the 3rd. We needed to nail those three picks.

But it's ok because the players had a fun, stress free training camp.

yeah zero on the field discipline is a bad sign.

moore MAY have been a good play caller at philly but that does not mean he can run a team in all facets of oversight.

The jury is out...but because we suck so bad talent wise and front office wise he will get plenty passes/mulligans for the time being.

Not blaming Moore on players, but some of his game time coaching decisions have me concerned.

Well most players were already here.

Coach
"hey guys know your snap count"
Players
"damn coach, we get the snap counts in the huddle geez man"
Fans
"stupid coach"

Right. We all know this roster lacks talent & won't win much because of it but the sloppiness & lack of discipline falls heavily on coaching or the lack there of. It's not a good indication early on the Moore tenure but we should have saw this coming when players were raving about how easy camp was, how Moore wants appear more like their friend than HC & even the motto he pushed in training camp.

quote:

"This is the best training camp I have been a part of," Godchaux began, speaking with reporters after Tuesday's practice session. "Just, coach Kellen, how he's approached the training staff, the staff in general (and) how they take care of the guys, it's the best training camp I've been a part of. Grind, grind, then we're gonna take care of you, grind, grind."

Moore and his new sports performance director Ted Rath scripted out a schedule that balances out open-field work on one day and condensed red-zone drills the next, while pacing players with a rest day between every three or four practices. They're writing in time to specifically address recovery between practice in the morning and meetings or occasional team outings in the afternoon (on Tuesday, for example, they went bowling). It's a smart approach, and guys who have seen other players injured by overwork appreciate it.

quote:

The "joy" aspect is borrowed from coach Steve Kerr and the Golden State Warriors. Kerr, who has won four NBA titles as a coach, has publicly used it as one of his coaching mindsets.

"There's just a joy element to playing a kids' game for a living, have some fun doing this hopefully, and enjoy the journey, enjoy the highs, the lows, the practices, the games, enjoy the road trips. ... There's a lot of challenges associated with this profession, both players and coaches and everyone associated with it. But there's an element of joy that we need to have doing it," Moore said.

Demario Davis discusses "joy"

quote:

Still, there are plenty of differences between the two — especially in their personalities. Payton is a Bill Parcells disciple and had the fiery persona to match. Moore is more even-keeled after watching his dad coach high school football in their small hometown of Prosser, Washington.

quote:

Moore now gets to run the show in New Orleans. So far, players have embraced his approach. The vibes are always high in scenarios like these, but this offseason, long snapper Zach Wood and tight end Juwan Johnson remarked that this was the best it has felt in a long time.

The two are also part of the handful of players left who experienced the team’s success under Payton.

“With Sean here, he was very aggressive and (had an) assertive personality,” Wood said, bringing up Payton unprompted. “Kellen is laid back. Just himself, which I think everybody appreciates when somebody can get up in front of a room of a bunch of guys who think they’re alpha males and lead a team and not try to be anybody but yourself. Because people can usually see right through that.
