And now Omar Fateh — a Somali-American Muslim and Democratic Socialist — is poised to take City Hall as the next mayor of Minneapolis.

True, but MSP used to be a containment zone for it. There seems to have been a deliberate effort over the last decade to send them all over the rest of the state.
