I tend to agree

We still don’t know really what kind of team we have.

Defense looks ELITE, but they haven’t been challenged. Offense is still (at best) a work in progress.

Ole Miss can challenge our defense.

I think if we can win this game, we’d really have to shite the bed to NOT make the playoffs.

Lose this game and it’s hard not to see us dropping a couple more and end up missing the playoff

Not so fast. We could lose that game and Ole Miss could lose 3 more games and we could lose just 1 more. With the portal it's a free for all now. Hell Vandy could go 10-2 this year. Parity rules now. What will decide it, barring major injuries, will be the head coaches. I like the portal and the parity.

Going to be a good one. Ole miss not tested. Shut that quarterback running down. They’ll show their true colors when the get hit in the mouth a few times on defense

They need to win one more road game. This will probably be the one. The ou game is going to be interesting as their front is going to walk through lsu o line.

I think losing earlier is better than losing later as far as creeping back up in the rankings.

LSU is more talented than Ole Miss. we should win. Road games in SEC are hard.

Same thing was said often here about Clemson and then again about Florida.

We will not be expected to win an SEC game on the road playing a top 15 ranked undefeated team. If we win, it will be an upset.

I expect our D to keep us close. Winning would be big.

That's what we said about Clemson and Florida.

I can't wait for us to sneak a win at Ole Miss, and then they drop 2-3 in a row. And Heather will say, LSU's wins are against downward spiraling teams!!

Have a hard time seeing Aggie come into DV and winning. Alabama seems to be the only team that can do that.

Ole Miss and Vandy worry me more than USCe and Aggie

I do think if we win this game, it would take a total melt down to miss the playoffs

It should define Joe Sloan, CBK, and our football program.

Beating Ole Miss is the default status for LSU football. I think LSU has more talent across the board than Ole Miss, and a loss should directly fall on the preparation and the coaching.

I will not say define but it will tell us how good our D is against a Solid and Dangerous Offense. Only defines the season if you allow it to. Win against Ole Piss and Stink it up again SC or Vice Versa and yes it will. Otherwise, No.

always with the theatrics. It's an important game but most definitely not season defining.

It'll definitely be a temp check on who we really are on both sides of the ball though.
