Carius Curne looked strong as hell but a bit heavy and slow.

Looks like a road-grader of a guard to me, not sure why he's only been playing tackle.

Our entire second string looks over weight and slow.

Maybe that’s what’s needed to get running game going? Who knows

Works if you are only blocking straight ahead, can't be slow if you expect to do a lot of pulling, though.

I don't know why, lsu is trying to play him at tackle. It seems that maybe lsu promised him he could play tackle

Have you seen the rt. He is terrible. That’s why. They are desperate.

Some ppl thought him playing tackle had to do with the lack of depth at tackle behind the starters but that logic went out the window when dj Chester was the first guy off the bench at tackle and not curne, making it even more perplexing why we have him at tackle. Curne’s physicality screams guard

If he works on his body he could play RT. But he has about 20lbs to lose

I don't think the OL Coach is sure either.

20 pounds? Those guys lose 20 pounds when they sneeze. You wouldn't even notice if that guy lost 20 pounds.

If it’s so easy, why hasn’t he done it yet?

It is easy to lose 20lbs, it is a different story when you need to commit to re-shape your body. He needs to lose fat, gain muscle, improve flexibility.

IDK.
I was just saying he would need to lose more than 20 to make a big difference in his quickness.

He may be a guard but he has better feet than Davis. Agree that his conditioning is suspect.
