NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Three people were shot Saturday afternoon (Sept. 20) in Algiers, New Orleans police said.
The department did not disclose the ages, genders or conditions of the victims.
The gunfire was reported at 1:10 p.m. in the 900 block of Nunez Street, near the corner of Newton Street, police said.
The NOPD said officers arrived to find one male victim shot in the leg. Two other victims had been taken from the scene by private vehicle to seek hospital treatment

Yep, I was about to say wrong side of Opelousas. We always felt sorry for the pets we'd drive by on that side because they could have found good homes several blocks to the north.

It was when I lived there. Opelousas Ave to the parish line was a dump.
