I don’t feel that way much any more, but I still like that football is on!

A decade ago sure. Today ...not so much. Even if not there yet, it's on its way.

Couldn’t disagree more. Not crazy about the nfl product these days but cfb is an absolute shitshow and a shittier version of the current nfl.

NFL pageantry outside of the Super Bowl is an absolute shitshow compared to CFB. Watching NFL is boring compared to college football. Storming fields, tailgating and schools having a hundred different traditions is what makes college football. An upset in the NFL doesn’t register on the map compared to watching a good upset in college football

Notice how no NFL fan ever has to make these type of posts

College football is getting watered down with all this NIL crap going on. Get a team of good players through recruiting and it's almost a guarantee some of them will be leaving simply because another school offers more $$$. It's now not enough to get free tuition and whatever perks came with it, play for a good team and then get a shot at the pro level if a stud in the collegiate game. It's become more about the money.
At least in pro ball there's that little thing called a contract that prevents that from happening.

You could also look at it this way. Miami Hurricanes home stadium is in the top 25% of college stadia in terms of capacity. The Miami Dolphins stadium is in the bottom 20% of NFL stadia. It’s the same place.

The NFL is too corporate and political along with the rules changes over the last 20 years has made it too soft, especially the kickoff situation!

NFL is better in the age of NIL and transfer portal and nonsensical conferences
If I want to watch pro sports ill just watch the NFL

College football did this to itself.

That and giving the stiff arm to cities that were willing to take it up the arse to keep their teams there.
