Late September series against a division rival with the season series and division title on the line. Despite all the frustrations this year I'm pumped and we get the MF Diesel on the bump.

All square at the top of the division, one game clear of the Red Sox, one game behind Detroit for the two seed. It's never been more right in front of them.

ETA: Hunter with a chance to take back the lead for ERA title. Skubal went 6 with 1 ER yesterday to put his season ERA at 2.23. HB enters with an ERA of 2.27

It’s a must-win with HB on the mound. If you lose tonight, the series is probably over with Framber following tomorrow

The fact that this merry band of rogues and n'er do-wells is still in first place despite a season full of frickery is pretty remarkable.

9 games left, tied for the Division lead. This series probably decides the Division. Hopefully the fans show up and treat it like a playoff series.

Unfortunately after this series, the Mariners have the Rockies while we've got the A's who've played at a 91 win pace in the 2nd half.

No Yed is a big loss. Framber on Saturday (?) hurts really bad. Altuve, Correa, Pena, Walker, Diaz are going to have to be huge.

Glad I bought tickets for tonight yesterday. Seeing playoff prices right now. Should be a good atmosphere.

I'm getting Kirk Gibson vibes, Paredes will hit a walk off to win and will need to be carried. Two Astros pitchers will carry him and then need TJ surgery.

Crazy that he was supposed to be out til next year though, normally a hang nail means 60 day DL with this team.

The team is doing a terrible job pushing to hype the fans for the biggest series of the year in what could be the last home games this year.

Since yesterday theyve tweeted about

~The team store hours

~Minor leaguer players of the year

~Hispanic heritage weekend

~youth baseball clinic

~Hispanic heritage giveaway

~an epic match up and Hispanic heritage celebration

~Hispanic heritage month

~Altuve autograph giveaway

~Silver boot staying home

So one mention of the series to come and it was wrapped up with Hispanic heritage.

Do we expect Isaac to hit the ground running with no rehab start? I personally don’t see him being much of a factor. But I’m hoping I’m dead wrong!!

My hope for him is he sees 15-20 pitches and grinds Woo’s pitch count up. Any damage he does I’d be ecstatic

I'd like too see some energy out of these guys this weekend. Been a complaint all year. Theyre too mild mannered, low energy. Little fire out of anybody. They mirror Espadas style.

I've seen the energy needle move a tad with the addition of Carlito in the clubhouse.
