It literally is that unfortunately. Whether they are unknowing, useful idiot puppets; or they knowingly lie and are just evil, the entire leftist platform is a dramatic play for effect. They are basically living out a kayfabe life, and once you realize that and that they arent serious people to deal with, then you can just move on in life trying to work around them instead of with them.
