ST. GEORGE, La. (WAFB) - Multiple illegal massage establishments operating in St. George were shut down following a joint federal and local investigation, according to officials.
St. George officials announced that over the past week, four businesses voluntarily closed following enforcement actions by the city, and unlawful operations at four additional locations were halted on Tuesday, Sept. 16, when the fire department terminated their utility services.
“Our top priority is protecting the health, safety, and well-being of St. George residents,” said the city’s program director and chief building official in a joint statement. “By shutting down businesses operating illegally, we are sending a clear message: these practices will not be tolerated. We remain committed to ensuring our community is safe, lawful, and thriving.”
This investigation was a partnership between the City of St. George, St. George Fire Department, the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
According to officials, the coordinated crackdown targets illegal activities often linked to unlicensed massage parlors, including prostitution, human trafficking, and money laundering.
Officials have not yet released the names of the four businesses.
Looks like the Rub n' tugs across town are no more, no more boom-boom for you!

I was led to believe St George was an upper middle class island in the middle of a sea of trashiness.

Well NOW it is after the rub-n-tugs have been shut down following an extensive 16 month investigation with numerous undercover visits to these establishments by EBR Sherrif personnel.

Shes not going to do it.

Rub n Tugs are an interesting phenomenon. If there is an Asian massage parlor near you that is open at 9 am and still open at midnight it is basically a brothel.....everything one can imagine is on the menu. Its a well known fact and many of such places have been in business for many years in the same location. The local authorities HAVE to be on the payroll...it is simply not possible that they are not. Not that it would be surprising, after all the local authorities are human and as such subject to losing site of right and wrong when it comes to money or sex.
I will bet a coca cola they do not convict ANYONE of a crime beyond the women working in the place for solicitation...and probably not even that. They certainly won't convict anyone of human trafficking....the authorities will claim they have evidence and may even charge someone with that heinous crime but they will quietly drop those charges when that evidence proves to be nothing more than a gut feeling....it almost never if it ever happens than anyone is actually tried for trafficking from these types of busts....but they always run that flag up the pole to watch it flap in the breeze until the local authorities get all the good out of it and before it costs the taxpayers much to try anyone involved on such trumped up crimes. Odds are pretty good when like with all sex crimes when everyone is in prison it will be the lone woman like the Epstein case.....if that.
Given that rub and tugs are present in just about every community in the US and are operatiing with the knowledge and cooperation of the authorities in every community why don't we just grow the frick up and make it legal? If a woman wants to make a living jerking off strangers and there are strangers who will pay her to do so and they are all adults what is the harm? The woman can jerk off 100 strangers a night for free but can't accept a tip for the favor. That is some, as they say, old bullshite. You can rest assured if women were as prone to pay for sex as men are and men could make a living fricking it not only would be legal but many of those men would be held in high regard in their communities....
