Must win in regards to the season series, idgaf about the Boot but having the tie break over as many teams as possible would be cool. Rangers currently lead 6-5.
Also, must win in regards to having to face deGrom tomorrow, Kelly is a damn good pitcher but gotta get this one before facing that hoss tomorrow.

I agree...but I am at the point that I wouldn't feel at all sad or upset if we missed the playoffs because we lost a tie-breaker to someone.

100% agreed.
I don't think we own any tie breakers as of today so if they get bounced because of that they absolutely get what they deserve.

Honestly, part of me is amazed the Astros are not buried 29 games back in the standings.
The other part is frustrated because of the fact they could easily be up 9 or 12 games right now if it weren’t for the terrible approach of situational hitting and complete mismanagement of the bullpen early in the season.
Both parts are running on give-a-damn fumes at this point.

The reason the Astros are still very much alive is that the AL basically sucks this year.

This is true. And why I'm still hoping they can get in. I think any AL team that makes it to the post season could get hot for a couple of weeks and end up in the WS.
