Because he's going to be fine for the Ole Miss game and it's SELA this week

We're through the part of the schedule where teams could have gameplanned for an injury and gotten an advantage

To calm the fanbase down in bitching about the offense

Probably because its the reason for conservative gameplanning. Also because he can’t push it down the field.

He probably is starting to feel better and these next two games have worse defenses

Only reason to do that is if he’s starting to feel better

Because Nuss is catching a lot of media flac about Heisman and disappointing play. I would assume BK is trying head off some of that negative press and relieve some of the pressure on his QB. If this gets in his head too deep it will be hard to get out this season.

He don’t gaf what the fanbase thinks. He’s 3-0 with the best defense in the country. If Nuss will truly be fine after the bye week, why let Ole Miss know he’s dealing with something?

Yep. If I were Kiffin I would be preparing for a bunch of deep balls.
When coaches speak to the media, they are really speaking to their team and to what they want their opponents to think

CLM would hardly ever say anything about a player’s injury except that he was “nicked”. Of course, Coach Miles was never known for his precise articulation of the English language. ??

The games have begun with Lane.
Whit is dating Kiffin’s daughter.
We’re telling him Nuss is dealing with an injury. Then Nuss is gonna throw the ball 40 times in Oxford

I tend to agree with this. It was obvious to many of us something was off, besides just the play calling or the offensive line.

It started back in camp, IMO, when we heard Nuss being held out for "load management". Certainly could have been part of it, but holding your starting QB out so much towards the end of fall camp just seemed weird to me.

I think you're correct and that Kelly is acknowledging Nuss' injury to help further explain some of the decisions they're making along with the lack of offensive production.

a

I think Honey Badger and a few others were "withheld from competition" at times when they were suspended for something

How about rest him during FBS opponent and let the kid heal? could get 7 days healing in. Get some electronic gadgets, Hz machine, BPC-157, ice bath, idk...

At least we know the antagonistic gaslighting by BK had a purpose and an intent.

Guts for the kid playing hurt. Sorry that it shows with the target selection. Understand the "game plan" now.

Can we let Van Buren hand off 35 times and let 18 rest?

At least we're not curating the Manning injury saga now playing out. That sloped shoulder not likely to heal up this season. Maybe they can get some of that mile high HGH from the aunt and uncle to heal it up right quick.
