Jeff Tedford would be a nice fit for UCLA. Great offensive oriented coach who is still fairly young at 63.

Horrible coach. Not a nice person....I hear he doesn't return buggies when he goes to the grocery.

For all of his faults, the one thing you can't fault Coach O for is his intense hatred of all things UCLA

Watch UCLA target him only so they can brag about stealing Berkeley's head coach.

I do not understand the Gruden hype. I think he would be mediocre in college. Why do people get so enamored with him?

Yeah, Chip Kelly was mediocre but at least he had college head coaching experience. No need to go even farther down that road. Gruden hasn't coached in college since the 1980s.

Can you just imagine him speaking to the California press. They would need an interpreter lol. He would’t last long in the land of fruits and nuts.

I'm not sure UCLA gets anyone in their top 10 choices without making more of a commitment to football. I definitely don't see hardly anyone on that list going there without a better commitment.

I guess if the money is good enough, maybe, but why would any coach worth a damn want to walk into that situation? It's hard for me to see any older coach that's worth a damn going there. Even with the portal, it'll be a multi year rebuild and that's without all the other issues going on there.

DeBoer should take UCLA, avoid the stigma of getting canned. He can play it off that he misses the West Coast.

Tedford is the smart hire though, feels like he should be in his mid 70s though!
