I’m convinced the left pushes this on the right, to handcuff conservatives from being able to do anything. I don’t see any history of libertarian philosophy being a part of the right anytime before Reagan. It’s mostly a stupid, childish political philosophy. It’s for young conservatives who are too embarrassed to call themselves conservative or Republican.

The entire philosophy is basically let’s do nothing and sit back and watch Communists gain ground on us, but not stop them because of muh principles.

Libertarianism is not conservative in doctrine, never has been. Read Edmund Burke and tell me where libertarianism comes

We need to primary them out, starting with massie and Rand

Wrong.

Have you not heard of Javier Milei yet?

There is not a bigger advocate of shitting on the Left and driving them out of ALL institutions than Javier Milei...a fricking philosophical anarcho-capitalist. You can't get more libertarian than that.

ETA; Tell me a single Republican in America that has the balls to tell it like this. And I'd LOVE for you to tell me where you disagree w/ him

Massie’s entire career in DC accurately summed up in one sentence.

Massie and Rand are no Milei’s

Milei acknowledges the left wants to kill us and must be stopped at all costs

Massie wants to sing kumbaya with them

Have they ever won a single election?

I don't have an issue w them necessarily, but focus on winning something first.
Focus on one house seat..

Instead they run presidential campaigns, and hurt Republicans.

It's retarded logic.

A pack of hyenas will always take down a lion. Herd up. We are almost through the Nomad Phase. The Hero Phase is incoming. We will win.

Then your problem isn't w/ libertarianism. It's w/ the way Massie approaches it.

How in the hell is growing the government, which Republicans constantly do and the source of this woke shite, going to help stop these psychopathic Libs?

He’s literally exerting governmental power.

He's slashed spending by THIRTY PERCENT. That's not a reduction in the rate of growth, that's actual spending cuts.

Then, he eliminated all kinds of agencies and has deregulated the living shite out of the economy.

So tell me; How has he INCREASED the power of government?

My problem is with libertarian theory. It’s not hard enough to weather the liberal attacks on society.

Libertarian stances on social policies like immigration, fig marriage, drug use, religious freedom (I.e building mosques) and so on have fricked our country.

I like Milei very much. Argentina is almost 90% European and 70% Roman Catholic.

Things that work in Argentina are not things that will work here. It’s an apples to unicorns nation states.

Exactly. Republicans are the same as democrats as far as growing government. It's not as cut and dry as the OP makes it out to be.

Alternatively, nowadays, there are a lot, if not more democrats, who call themselves libertarians because of embarrassment of calling themselves a democrat (as they should be embarrassed and ashamed).

Anarcho-capitalism is the ideal form of government, but it will always be a utopian concept as long as leftists are around, therefore the far right like myself just keep it pushing.

Libertarians just want maximum freedom in the immediate consequences of any decision point, without thinking about the potential ramifications of that freedom.

"Of course people should be able to move between borders whenever they want, thats freedom!"

Meanwhile, as a result of that mindset housing markets, health care, and public services get overrun. Crime goes up. Fewer jobs. The police state expands because you have all of these people with no documentation living around you.

Libertarianism is great for high school kids as a thought exercise, but thats about it. Being libertarian is essentially just admitting you're unable to recognize second order consequences of an action.
