I dont think so. He's Anthony Richardson except not as fast.

Yes if there is a different OC

Imagine the melt if our QB threw 5 ints on the road

He would make playing with LSU on Xbox a lot more fun, but hard pass. I don’t think he’s that good.

There will be much better QB options in the portal.

How many 5 INT games are you willing to sit through?

Do you remember the 1994 Auburn game?

He has potential and talent as we saw last year but due to him being injury prone, I'd say no. He has been hurt a lot. That's partially why he's bad this year because he can't stay healthy to practice. He doesn't know how to protect himself and gets nailed as you saw last night.
Pass. I'd imagine we would have better options in the portal. He does have talent potential.

Depends how he looks the rest of the season.
He’s got talent and he’s still young so in the right system he could blossom into something special.
I would not judge him solely on last night.
But I’d may not matter who the QB is next year if Sloan is still running the offense

Possibly. It will really come down to who is in the portal.
Lagway threw some REALLY nice balls last night, several of which were under a lot of pressure. The TD pass was perfect and he had a few others that were dropped in against really good coverage. He’s got obvious arm talent and good accuracy when he’s on.
But he’s definitely got some of that Nuss Gunslinger in him. His coach did him no favors abandoning the run too early. They left the defense able to pressure him and still keep 6 or 7 in coverage at all times. He was in a tough spot, but he definitely started pressing and made very bad decisions on at least 3 of the picks.
The Spears pick 6 could have been a better read, but that was more just a fantastic play for the defense to me. I could absolutely see Nuss pulling the trigger on that one. But only a handful of Safeties will break like that and get there in time to make that pick. Most will get just there to either try to break up the pass or make the tackle.

After last night, no. He was lost in the sauce last night. Give me a true zone read guy for the offense next year.

I say yes. He completed 5 out of 6 passes with a TD to us last night. I credit Harold Perkins with a drop.

Yes 100%. Tiger stadium and the Defense had him rattled last night but he has had some good performances in his young career.
