“Around to remember” confused me. It literally feels like yesterday to me. I guess it’s been 10 years
It’s always been some boogeyman. Whether Brandon Harris or Anthony Jennings, losing to Troy, having Fournette getting completely shut down by bama, tons of examples of shite that has made us very 1 dimensional.

But we’ll get some big wins. Enough to not make any real changes. That’s the sad part
This current team is basically every LSU team from 2012-2018.

Bunch of nfl talent, absolute dawgs on defense, and some sort of offense shortcoming whether it’s QB, o line, play calling, etc.

This identity is good enough to win 9 or 10 each year and a bowl game. Not good enough to win it all. Not bad enough to drive any change.

High floor, low ceiling, run of the mill LSU

To be fair, this is just an online message board. And it’s one well known for its hysteria. Nothing on here is for any benefit or gain

I think LSU should play "won't back down" and everybody in the stadium sing along.

And then we all jerk off as one collective tiger
Just go out there and start it, don’t plan the cheer on a forum. This isn’t TAMU.
Too quick. We didn’t need the ejection to smoke this team. I would’ve enjoyed seeing their HC squirm all game in anger from the dugout.
Me Calling it hilarious was sarcasm. This video obviously isn’t funny. It’s some video I found online that was embarrassing.
What do you mean both times?
It was sarcasm. This video made me cringe. Embarrassingly dumb thing to post as an adult. Would expect this from 8th grade lunchroom
Dumb college kids can’t catch! Hilarious!

What are your favorite herbicides and fertilizers?
The active ingredient is 0.68% Prodiamine so it’s a pre M for a bunch of weeds. The bag calls it “Stonewall” but not sure what that is maybe it’s Lescos name for Prodiamine

River sand for new sod

Posted by Elusive Crawfish on 9/26/23 at 10:47 am
I know this board has advised against river sand due to torpedo grass and other weeds but a few places I’ve called have said their “pumped” river sand is the preferred material under new sod and that it’s clean and weed free. Is this true? Are there multiple types of river sand/dirt ?

Edit: I should say that they have recommended this river sand over their more expensive topsoil that I inquired about

Hauling sod pallets

Posted by Elusive Crawfish on 9/21/23 at 12:38 pm
Ordered 2 pallets of sod and the farm can’t deliver this small amount. Any suggestions or recs on trailer rentals? Expected weight is 3000-4000 lbs total so U-Haul isn’t an option. I’d just haul 1 at a time but it’s a 1 hour drive
They say you can lay sod anytime during the year in south LA but it’s a bit risky in late fall/winter if it doesn’t get properly rooted prior to hard freezes. But even then, people lay dormant sod all year long especially when new homes are built. With weather being so hot this year I am thinking we will be able to go into late November before grasses go dormant or partially dormant. With that said I plan to sod within the next couple of weeks which should still leave 4-6 weeks of root establishment before dormancy
I was going to sod this weekend but a number of weeds and grass have sprouted the past couple of days. Can I spray with Glyphosate, then add soil + sod a few days later or do I need to let the weeds die off for a couple of weeks first?
New to this and looking for some help. Here’s my interpretation:
1. Since I’m sodding, I’ll follow the “establish” guidance.
2. Nitrogen - Each of the Nitrogen options come out to ~4.5 lb N per 1000. (I based this off of using the molar fraction of N within each of the compounds.)
3. Phosphate - about 1.5 lb P per 1000
4. Potassium- about 2.9 lb K per 1000

For simplicity sake, let’s say I’m doing 1000 sq ft of sodding.

Does this mean I should add the above quantities to my soil before I lay the sod?
…Or…
Should I lay the sod now, then later add NPK in small doses until I achieve these quantities?

TIA for any help on this.
